With the remarkably popular NES off the market, Nintendo developed the Super NES in 1991. It offered more superior graphics, sound, gameplay capability, and the save option on all games. Super Mario World premiered with the Super NES and became another huge hit in the industry. It introduced more options such as of course, the save feature, and Mario's now famous friend, Yoshi.

Bowser and his crazy kids are at again, this time in Dinosaur World, where he has kidnapped Dinosaur eggs. While Mario, Luigi, and Princess Toadstool are vacationing here, Bowser captures the Princess. Mario is later informed by Yoshi, a kind, loving dinosaur, that the eggs and the Princess are in trouble, and must save them.
