The finale in the hit NES Mario series, Super Mario Bros. 3 delievered as one of the most successful video games ever. SMB3 introduced new power-ups, a map screen, and the ability to save items.

Bowser is back, but this time, he has sent his seven children to the Mushroom Kingdom to steal the wands from each of the Kings. After the seventh world, Mario discovers Bowser has kidnapped the Princess and must complete one more world in order to beat the game.

Super Mario Bros. 3 has two interesting facts about it's marketing.

• Super Mario Bros. 3 was introduced in a movie called "The Wizard". The movie set the hype for one of the best-selling games ever.

• Super Mario Bros. 3 has been recorded as the best-selling video games ever. Records contrast between 7 million and 15 million copies sold.
