SMBFan is Dead

Yes, if you haven't noticed already, SMBFan has slowly spiraled into it's own self-destruction. There are several reasons for this.

• Complete lack of interest. Let's face it, is there really going to be much to update about in the vintage Mario genre?

• No time. My interest has switched completely to the James Bond movie series. At least it's something in which there is actual news, and the fans are actually mature, unlike in the NES scene.

• NES scene members. They're all completely immature. Being a part of this scene was a complete embarassment and now I wonder why I stayed as long as I did. Although there were some good people (RoyalRanger, who runs Silius), the majority of them were very ignorant. Most of them are older than me and you'd never guess by having a conversation with them.

Is the NES scene really why I left? No, it's mostly because of lack of interest. But as I reflect on my past here, I really don't understand how I managed to stay around these people. Oh well, I'm outta here anyway.

I would've loved to celebrated SMBFan's third anniversary coming up April 20th, but that won't happen.
